The island belongs to the company Aman Resorts and is closed to the public. It means that it is inaccessible to all, except those who can afford the price of 800,00 € per night.

By 1954 there were only 20 people who lived on the island. In the 50s of the last century the island was renovated and opened 1960 as a hotel.

It quickly became a favorite gathering place for movie stars, royalty, athletes, politicians from the 60s such as Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti, Doris Day, Princess Margaret, Alberto Moravia.

Although you can not visit the island, you will enjoy walking through the Milocer park trails winding through the Milocer park, which is filled with olive groves and various exotic trees.

Walking takes you to Sveti Stefan next to Villa Milocer and the Royal beach, which are also part of the Aman Resort.
